Hard Coat Processes
Excellent performance and durability of ophthalmic lenses starts with leading scratch resistance technology. Satisloh offers thermal dip coating and UV spin coating processes for hard scratch-resistance and highest anti-reflective adhesion on ophthalmic lenses.
- UV Spin Coating - less complex production and economical investment with the highest process speed. Can be fully automated and labs can achieve extremely high scratch-resistance.
- Thermal Dip Coating - coats both sides of uncoated lenses and provides maximum scratch resistance and uniform performance on front and back. This is the most economical solution for high volume labs that can coat in batches.
