Satisloh GmbH receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification

For the second time, Satisloh GmbH (Wetzlar, Germany) has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification for all departments.

“The ISO 9001:2015 certification sets out the criteria for a quality management system, providing guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customers’ requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.” (ISO)

Satisloh was worldwide one of the first ophthalmic and precision optics machine manufacturers to achieve this certification (Satisloh Italy 2016, Satisloh Germany 2018). Now, Satisloh Germany achieved its recertification.

“The recertification increased further our maturity level on process & product quality and our services towards customers. The system moves more and more into a customer centric focus to value our business partners sight. I would like to thank once again all employees for their conscientious work and dedication. This is always a joint teamwork,” said René Leroux, COO of the Satisloh Group.

Torsten Klann, QMS Manager, who accompanied the entire certification process, was also very positive about the audits. “Within only one week, more than 20 departments were audited and, for the first time, the audits took place online. As far as digitalization is concerned, we can also be very proud of the fact that we are at the cutting edge of technology and that our employees are well prepared,” said Klann.

The QMS recertification keeps the company poised and ready for the future.
